Dear Gran Melia Xi'an Management, I am writing to express our sincere gratitude for the outstanding hospitality and assistance provided during our recent stay from December 17th to December 22nd, 2024. Our visit to Xi'an was made truly memorable thanks to the exceptional service offered by your esteemed establishment. Special thanks are extended to your hotel manager, whose prompt and compassionate assistance during an unexpected emergency was deeply appreciated. Their immediate response and coordination with Genertec Universal CREC Xi'an Hospital ensured that all necessary medical attention was received without delay. This level of care and commitment to your guests' well-being speaks volumes about the quality of service at Gran Melia Xi'an. We would also like to commend the entire staff for their professionalism, courtesy, and dedication to making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. From the meticulously maintained rooms to the exquisite dining experiences, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Once again, thank you for your remarkable hospitality. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff who had to break to us the bad news that the pool was in deep cleaning mode. This was a big disappointed for us since we booked the hotel for having a pool. However, they went out of their way to arrange the possibility for us to swim at hotels in the vicinity (The W and Grand Hyatt) and they invited us to their daily happy hour drink and food buffet. Which more than compensated for the absence of an in house pool.

You’re 10 minutes walk from one of the main walking street and 3 minutes from one dynasty show (tang paradise) that I really enjoyed. The espresso in the lobby was really good! Berry from the red level lounge, who is the most skilled English speaker I met in China so far, went the extra mile and helped a lot even behind her duties.

The room chosen was fantastic with own balcony and a nice view, on the site it is called lakeview, however there is no lake, but a kind of Pont with water fountains that unfortunately did not work. The hotel has a fantastic entrance and once inside a large reception and modern. The room had fantastic fresh colors.

The room was tastefully designed, with touches of elegance throughout. Access to Red level was a true privilege with the amazing and attentive service we received. We also really enjoyed using the pool, and looked forward to coming back to the hotel after busy sightseeing schedules.
